PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Women's Basketball will open Missouri Valley Conference play with a three-game home stand and the opening weekend of league action will feature a pair of promotions.

Friday's 7 p.m. MVC opener against Evansville at Renaissance Coliseum will be Veteran's Appreciation Night with all veterans and military personnel receiving free admission with an ID.

The Braves will be holding a free youth clinic immediately following Sunday's 2 p.m. outing against Indiana State.  The event is open to all grade school children (K - 8th grade) with Bradley Women's Basketball players and coaches providing instruction following the completion of the game.  No pre-registration is required, but participants are asked to wear active wear and gym shoes.

Bradley wrapped up the non-conference portion of the schedule with a 66-46 victory over Eastern Washington in Kansas City, Mo., back on Dec. 21 and the Braves bring a 9-2 overall record into Friday's Valley opener against Evansville.
