Sophomore Hannah Thompson of the volleyball team is the Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month, earning the honor after a fan vote for the month of November.

Thompson led the Braves during the month, posting a team-best 3.29 kills and 4.24 digs per set, while also adding 0.61 blocks. The MVC Player of the Week after leading Bradley to its first win at I-74 rival Illinois State since 2002, Thompson collected 19 kills and 23 digs in the rivalry victory. Overall, she had a double-double in 7-of-9 matches, including 18 kills and 28 digs in the MVC Tournament against Valparaiso.

Just the third sophomore in school history to earn All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team honors, Thompson was the only player in the Valley to rank in the top 10 in both kills and digs per set. She ranked seventh with 3.21 kills per set, while also placing seventh with 4.63 digs per set. The sophomore also finished the season with a school-record 24 double-doubles in 2019.

Thompson earned the Bradley Athlete of the Month accolades after a fan vote on the school's twitter account. She collected 37 percent of the vote to beat out Jake Hoffert of the men's cross country team (30 percent), Lasha Petree of women's basketball (19 percent) and Nate Kennell of the men's basketball team (14 percent).
