Braves Run at Notre Dame in Final Meet Before Valley Championship

The Bradley track team wrapped up regular-season competition on Saturday, running at Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational.

BU's distance medley relay team posted the second-best time in school history to start the competition, clocking a time of 9:45.29. The relay, consisting of Haran Dunderdale, David Shadid, Alec Hartman and Michael Ward, posted a time that was more than 12 seconds faster than the next-quickest Valley school entering the weekend and is second only to last years record of 9:32.31.

Dunderdale also raced in the 3,000m run for the first time this season to wrap up the competition. The senior finished second with a mark of 8:14.84, which ranks as the fifth-best time in the Valley this season.

Bradley now turns its focus toward the Missouri Valley Conference Championship with the two-day meet beginning next Saturday on the campus of Northern Iowa.
