WEEK THREE ... ON THE ROAD AGAIN
• Bradley Baseball will continue its season-opening, 18-game road swing this weekend by visiting UTSA for a 3-game series in San Antonio.
•   Although Bradley is playing UTSA in baseball for the first time in the program's 119-year history, the Braves are familiar with San Antonio.
•   Bradley played in the Irish Alamo Classic in 2016, posting a 2-2 record against Notre Dame (1-0), Incarnate Word (0-1), Gonzaga (1-0) and Texas Southern (0-1).
•   The Braves are tied for fourth nationally with four true road wins, trailing only Missouri Valley Conference rivals Indiana State (5-0) and Illinois State (5-2), as well as Nevada (5-0) ,for the most road wins in the nation.

SERIES HISTORY
Overall: First Meetings
•   Friday's series opener will be the first-ever baseball meeting between the Braves and Roadrunners.
•   In a rare matchup in any sport between the two schools, the Bradley men's basketball team earned a 71-69 win against UTSA during the second round of the 2017 Islands of the Bahamas Showcase in Nassau, Bahamas.
•   In the only other head-to-head competition between the two programs, Bradley Volleyball earned a 3-games-to-1 win against UTSA during the final round of Arkansas State's 1995 season-opening tournament.

AGAINST CONFERENCE USA
•   Bradley has played only 15 total games against the 12 current Conference USA baseball members, posting an 8-7 record.
•   Ironically, Bradley's last two games came against CUSA member Middle Tennessee during last weekend's SAF Dirt Classic, where the teams split a Sunday doubleheader.
•   Prior to Sunday's twinbill at Middle Tennesee, Bradley had not played a current CUSA member since dropping both games of a doubleheader at Western Kentucky March 2, 2002.

TEXAS ROAD TRIPS
•   With Dallas Baptist now in its sixth year of baseball membership in the Missouri Valley Conference, trips to Texas are becoming more frequent for Bradley Baseball.
•   The weekend series at UTSA represents Bradley's seventh trip to the Lone Star State in the last five seasons.
•   The Braves are 5-11 in their Texas games the last five years.
