SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Bradley men's golf fired matching three-over 287's and sits in fourth in the nine-team standings after day one of the fourth annual Twin Oaks Intercollegiate Monday, while seniors Michael Mounce and Branden Mounce tied for eighth to pace the Braves.

After winning the team title at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate each of the last two years, Bradley finds itself in fourth in the team standings after 36 holes of play Monday at six-over 574.  The matching 287's are both low rounds of the spring for the Braves.

SIU Edwardsville holds the top spot in the team standings at three-under 565, while Drake is second overall at two-under 566.  Tournament-host Missouri State is third overall 573 and Bradley is one shot back of the Bears in fourth at 574.  The Braves have a 10-shot advantage on fifth-place Green Bay (584) heading into Tuesday's final round at the par-71 Twin Oaks Country Club.

The Mounce brothers turned in matching scores with both firing one-over 72 in the morning and following it up with one-under 70's in the afternoon.  The second-round 70 by Branden matched his low round of the year, while Michael's second-round 70 was his lowest round of the spring.  The pair sit in a tie for eighth overall at even par 142, one shot out of a five-way tie for third.

Lucas Scherf of Drake is the individual leader in the clubhouse at eight-under 134 and holds a three-shot lead on the field heading into Tuesday's round.

Junior Charles Jahn had the low first-round score for the Braves with a 71 for his lowest score of the spring.  He turned in a second-round 75 and is 20th overall at four-over 146.

Seniors Daniel Lensing and Drake Bushong round out the team scoring for Bradley with the pair tied for 21st overall at five-over 147.  After a four-over 75 in the opening round, Lensing was three shots better in the afternoon with a spring-low round of one-over 72.

Bushong had his lowest round of the spring in the morning with a one-over 72 and carded a 75 to close the day tied with Lensing at 147.

The final round of the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate gets underway Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.
