KISSIMMEE, FL – Third baseman Brendan Doughtery was 4-for-5 with three runs batted in and three runs scored and shortstop Luke Shadid drove in five runs, leading Bradley (8-5) to an 18-1 win against Keystone (PA) College (3-5) during the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational Sunday evening at Osceola County Stadium.

Bradley's pitching staff entered the weekend ranked 24th nationally in earned run average and the Braves lowered their staff ERA to 2.72 as four hurlers limited Keystone to one unearned run on eight hits. Starter Mitch Janssen (1-0) earned his first win of the season by scattering four hits and allowing the unearned run with one walk and five strikeouts in his 5.0 IP. Paxton Thompson made his Bradley debut in relielf of Janssen and tossed a perfect sixth inning.

The Braves banged out a season-high 22 hits and broke the game open with an 8-run second inning. Catcher Keaton Rice was the only Bradley starter not to get a hit, but Rice drew two walks in his four plate appearances. Seven of the other eight starting position players collected multiple hits and the team's two second basemen, starter Christian Dominguez and seventh-inning sub Nick McMurray, both went 2-for-2 with a combined three runs scored and two runs batted in. Dominguez reached safely in all four of his plate appearances, also drawing two walks.

The Braves will return to action by facing Dartmouth in a 3-game, midweek series in Florida, beginning Tuesday with a 2 p.m. ET game at Osceola County Stadium.
