18TH STRAIGHT AWAY FROM HOME
•    Bradley Baseball will complete its season-opening, 18-game road swing Tuesday by visiting Big Ten Conference foe Iowa.
•    Bradley is tied for fifth nationally with 11 wins away from home to start the week, 7-5 in true road games and 4-1 in neutral-site contests.
•    The 2019 season marks the 14th in Bradley's 119-year baseball history the Braves will have played at least 18 games away from home before playing their first home game of the season.
•    Although the 18-game, season-opening road swing is rare in Bradley's overall history, this marks the sixth occurrence in the last seven years and ninth in the last 12 seasons.
•    Tuesday's game at Iowa marks the fourth time in six years Bradley will visit the Hawkeyes in its final road game before opening the home slate.

SERIES HISTORY - IOWA
88th meeting:  Iowa leads 44-41-2 | 17-17 at Iowa
•    The Bradley-Iowa baseball series dates to a 3-2 Iowa win in 10 innings April 29, 1930.
•    The teams are facing off for a sixth consecutive year with the 2-game, home-and-home series scheduled to be completed April 10 at Dozer Park.
•    Bradley is 7-4 against the Hawkeyes in the 11 meetings since 2003.
•    Iowa was 12-0-1 in the 13 meetings prior to World War II, but the Braves are 41-32-1 against the Hawkeyes since the series resumed in 1946.
•    The teams have evenly split the 34 previous meetings at Iowa, 17-17, though the Hawekeyes have won the last three meetings at Duane Banks Field.
•    A former assistant coach for the Hawkeyes, 11th-year Bradley head coach Elvis Dominguez is 6-4 against Iowa.

WEDNESDAY HOME OPENER
•    Following Tuesday's trip to Iowa, the Braves are slated to open their home schedule Wednesday night against MacMurray, before beginning the Valley season with a weekend home series against Evansville.
•    The game against the Highlanders will open a 9-game home stand, Bradley's longest home stand since a similar 9-game run from April 12-25, 2017.
•    With only a short trip to Western Illinois April 9 interupting the home slate, Bradley will play 13 of its next 14 games at Dozer Park.

SERIES HISTORY - MacMURRAY
17th Meeting:  Bradley leads 16-0 | BU 13-0 at home
•    Wednesday's home opener will mark the 17th all-time baseball matchup between Bradley and MacMurray, all since 1972.
•    The Braves are 16-0 against the Highlanders with 13 of those 16 games played in Peoria.
•    Bradley has scored in double digits in each of the last seven games against MacMurray and has outscored the Highlanders by a 31-3 count in the two previous meetings at Dozer Park in 2005 (20-1) and 2016 (11-2).
