Rain Delays Saturday Softball

PEORIA, Ill. – Rain in the Peoria area has pushed back the start time for today's Missouri Valley Conference Softball series opener between Bradley and Indiana State.

The teams were slated to open the three-game series with a noon doubleheader today at Petersen Hotels Field at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex. Incoming rain has forced the teams to push back the start of the series, however, with the teams hoping to play a single game Saturday afternoon starting at 3 p.m.

The Braves and Sycamores will close out the series Sunday with an 11 a.m. doubleheader with seniors Katie Habryle, Julie Kestas, Megan Mahaffy and Gabby Stoner recognized prior to the Sunday's first contest.
