MURRAY, Ky. – Junior Taylor Ledwein earned her fourth top-10 finish of the year, tying for eighth at the Jan Weaver Invitational and helped Bradley Women's Golf tie for fifth in the 15-team field in the team's final tournament before the Missouri Valley Conference Championship later this month.

Bradley entered the day sixth in the team standings and carded a final-round 306 to close the two-day tournament in a tie with I-74 rival Illinois State for fifth overall 914 at the par-72 Miller Memorial Golf Course.

Eastern Kentucky claimed the team title with a three-round total of 884 to edge second-place finisher Rutgers (887) by three strokes.  Tournament-host Murray State slipped into third in the standings at 892, while Louisiana-Monroe was fourth overall 903.  Bradley and Illinois State finished three shots better than seventh-place Southern Illinois (917).

Ledwein wrapped up her fourth top-10 finish of the season and the 12th of her career, tying for eighth overall at eight-over par 224.  Ledwein, who has placed in the top 10 in three consecutive tournaments and four of the last five events dating back to October's MVC Preview, matched her first-round score of two-over 74 during Saturday's action.

Senior Frankie Saban earned her team-best fifth top-20 finish of the 2018-19 campaign, finishing one shot back of Ledwein at 225 in a tie for 11th.  Saban shot a final round 76 and moved into 12th in career rounds played at Bradley, appearing in her 102nd career round as a Brave.

Junior Megan Medinger carded a three-over 75 and tied for 35th overall at 232.  Senior Brooke Thompson and sophomore Maddie Hawkins both shot matching 81's on the final day.  Thompson tied for 53rd overall at 238, while Hawkins tied for 60th (240) to round out the team scoring for the Braves.

Bradley also had three individuals in the field, with freshman Elyse Emerzian pacing the group.  Emerzian wrapped up her lowest 54-hole score of the year (230) with a season-best three-over 75 to climb into a tie for 25th.  She was two shots from posting her first top-20 finish as a Brave.

Fellow freshman Megan Welch turned in a third-round 80 and tied Thompson for 53rd (238), while Sarah Nacos matched her second-round score of 80 to tie for 70th at 242.
