PEORIA, IL – Brothers Luke and Andy Shadid combined to go 5-for-6 with six RBI's and three Bradley pitchers combined on a 1-hitter, leading the Braves (17-10) to a 14-2 win against Robert Morris-Springfield Sunday afternoon at Dozer Park.

Bradley wrapped up its season-long, 9-game home stand with its fifth straight win at Dozer Park.  Leading the nation in earned run average, the Braves allowed only two earned runs in their five home games this week, including one Sunday, to lower their season ERA to 2.21.

Senior RHP Sam Lund earned the win in an abbreviated 3-man effort Sunday, by allowing one unearned run on one hit with two walks and seven strikeouts in 4.0 innings.  Junior LHP DJ DePiero worked two perfect innings in relief and sophomore RHP Isaiah Glidden worked through some control problems in the seventh, before closing out Sunday's win.

After the Eagles (4-15) scored their unearned run on a wild pitch in the top of the first, Luke Shadid needed only two pitches to pull the Braves even, launching his fifth home run of the year onto the left field patio.  After the Shadid brothers both homered in Saturday's win against RMU-S, the both delivered RBI's in the first inning Sunday as Andy tacked on a 2-run double later in the inning to put the Braves in front, 3-1, for good.

The brothers were up to their same-inning-RBI-trick again in third inning, both drilling 2-run doubles down the left field line to highlight an 8-run outburst.

Among Sunday's other offensive highlights:  senior 2B Nick McMurray was 2-for-2 with two walks in his four plate appearances and senior LHP Cole Cook delivered a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning in his first career plate appearance.

Bradley will return to action Tuesday by visiting Western Illinois in a 4 p.m. clash in Macomb.  The Braves earned a 10-0 win in eight innings this past Tuesday against the Leathernecks at Dozer Park.  Bradley then will open a 4-game home stand Wednesday by hosting Iowa in a 6 p.m. matchup at Dozer Park.
