The Bradley men's basketball team added transfer Terry Nolan Jr. from George Washington, announced by head coach Brian Wardle on Wednesday.

"We are excited to add Terry to the Bradley family," Wardle said. "With the graduation of a number of guards not only last year, but next season as well, it was vital to add an experienced player so we can maintain our high-level of success. Terry was a productive guard at George Washington who is both a great defender and playmaker that can score. Having him for a year to work with will not only help us in the future but this season as well. He fits what we look for in a student-athlete and we're excited that he is a Brave for the next three years."

A 6-foot-2 guard from Baltimore, Nolan spent the last two seasons at George Washington University in the Atlantic 10. He appeared in 62 career games with the Colonials, making 51 starts, and averaged 9.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. During the 2018-19 campaign, Nolan ranked third on the team in both scoring (10.6) and rebounding (4.6), while leading George Washington in 3-point shooting (34.9 percent) and free-throw attempts (134) and placing second in steals (28).

Following a redshirt season in 2019-20 due to NCAA transfer rules, Nolan will have two years of eligibility remaining with Bradley.

Nolan joins a Bradley program that won its first Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in 31 years last season, earning an automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Tournament. The Braves return six letterwinners from their championship team – including their top three-scorers – to go along with six signees.
