The Bradley men's basketball team signed Kevin McAdoo – a transfer from Eastern Michigan – on Saturday, announced by head coach Brian Wardle.

"It is exciting to add Kevin to the Bradley program and complete our recruiting class for the year," Wardle said. "We have a talented class of newcomers with a mix of transfers and freshmen that I can't wait to work with. Kevin is a great playmaker who brings quickness and the ability to score the ball at the guard position. He is a young man that continues to improve every year and has two good years of experience under his belt joining our team."

A 6-foot-2 guard from Pontiac, Michigan, McAdoo joins the Braves after spending the last two seasons at Eastern Michigan. With the Eagles, McAdoo played in 59 games with 21 starting assignments, including 19 starts during his sophomore season when he averaged 8.6 points and scored in double figures on 13 occasions. He also totaled 45 assists and 30 steals in the 2018-19 campaign and ranked second on the team with 40 made 3-pointers.

McAdoo will redshirt the 2019-20 season due to NCAA transfer rules and will then have two years of eligibility remaining with the Braves.

"It was a great week for Bradley basketball as adding Kevin and Terry (Nolan) will help us sustain a competitive level of play," Wardle said. "Guard play is critical to the success of any program and with losing seven in a two-year span, adding these two sets us up well for the future. Each of our newcomers complement each other very well as they all bring something different to the team. They all will play a key role in our success and are pieces of a puzzle that fit in well with our returnees."

McAdoo joins a Bradley program that won its first Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in 31 years last season, earning an automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Tournament. The Braves return six letterwinners from their championship team – including their top three-scorers – to go along with seven signees.
