PEORIA, IL – Tuesday night's Bradley Baseball non-conference finale versus Saint Louis at Dozer Park has been cancelled due to the inclement weather forecast for Peoria and the game will not be re-scheduled.  The Braves (29-14, 9-6 MVC) will return to action this weekend by hosting I-74 rival Illinois State (28-20, 10-5 MVC) in a 3-game Missouri Valley Conference series at Dozer Park.

The rival Braves and Redbirds are locked in a heated race for the 2019 Valley baseball title.  Bradley will enter the weekend series tied for third with Dallas Baptist in the league standings, two games behind league-leading Indiana State (34-11, 11-4 MVC).  Both the Braves (May 16-18 in Terre Haute) and Patriots (this weekend in Dallas) have series remaining against the Sycamores, while Illinois State sits in between those trio of teams, one game behind Indiana State and one game in front of Bradley and DBU.

Each of the first two games against Illinois State are scheduled for 6 p.m. starts Friday and Saturday at Dozer Park.  Bradley will host the Redbirds in the regular-season home finale in a 1 p.m. game Sunday.  Bradley's 13 seniors will be honored in a pregame ceremony to begin at approximately 12:15 Sunday and all of the Bradley Baseball mom's are invited to take part in a ceremonial group first pitch immediately prior to the game.
