Bradley Announces Expanded Youth Game Day Crew

Building on last year's introduction of the Court Crew, area youth are invited to participate in the re-launched Molly Maid Game Day Crew

PEORIA, IL - After a successful debut season of the Court Crew program, Bradley Athletics has expanded the game day experience during the 2019-20 season to include Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball and Softball as the re-launched Molly Maid Game Day Crew.

Available to area youth ages 10-12, Bradley's Molly Maid Game Day Crew will enjoy an up-close view of Bradley Athletics events, while assisting in the game day operations. Members of the crew will be positioned alongside the action and assigned specific tasks to assist for all Bradley Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Softball and Volleyball home events. Participants will receive a Molly Maid Game Day Crew t-shirt to be worn during their assigned games, while their parents/guardians will receive two complimentary ticket to attend each assigned game. Additional tickets may be purchased by contacting the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office at Renaissance Coliseum (BradleyTicketOffice@bradley.edu or 309-6767-2625).

Examples of game day assignments include ball chasing for volleyball and soccer matches, retrieving foul balls at baseball and softball games, maintaining a clean and dry playing surface during the court sports, delivering water to officials, as well as other duties as assigned. Given the importance of the tasks, as well as NCAA compliance limitations, the 10-12 age range for the boys AND girls participating in the program is a requirement.

Molly Maid Game Day Crew participants should arrive at the designated location for the assigned game(s) one hour prior to the event's listed start time. Guardian tickets will be available at the Carver Arena Press Entrance for Men's Basketball games or the Will Call location at Renaissance Coliseum (Women's Basketball and Volleyball), Dozer Park (Baseball), Shea Stadium (Soccer) and Petersen Hotels Field at Louisville Slugger Sports Complex (Softball).

If your child is interested in participating in the Molly Maid Game Day Crew program, please complete the form at the bottom of the Molly Maid Game Day Crew information and registration page and indicate the game(s) available to participate. The Oct. 15 Bradley Basketball Red-White Scrimmage, as well as the 32 Men's Basketball (18) and Women's Basketball (14) home games for the 2019-20 season have been added to the Molly Maid Game Day Crew schedule, while space remains to join the Molly Maid Game Day Crew for the four remaining Soccer games or six remaining Volleyball matches. Baseball and Softball games will be added to the schedule this winter. The Bradley Athletics staff will review submissions and contact you to confirm specific game date assignments.
