CHESTERTON, Ind. – Junior transfer Jalen Hodges capped his Bradley debut with a one-over par 73 to finish at 5-over 221 as he paced the Bradley Men's Golf Team at the season-opening Crusader Collegiate.

Hodges tied for 30^th overall at 5-over 221 in his first outing as a Brave as the Parkland College transfer posted his second straight round of one-over 73 to close out the tournament.

The young Bradley squad improved its score in each of the three rounds at the par-72 Sand Creek Country Club, capping the event with a 10-over 298. The Braves finished 15^th in the field at 920, 10 shots out of a tie between Robert Morris and Green Bay for 13^th. Wright State claimed the team title at 11-under par 853.

Senior Alex Ciaramitaro used a career-best three-over 75 in the final round to earn a share of 60^th overall at 230. Freshman John Stillman matched Hodges for the low round of the day for the Braves at one-over 73, tying for 80^th at 240.

Josh Kirkham tied for 67th at 234 to post the best finish among the trio of Bradley freshmen. He matched his second round score of 5-over 77 in Tuesday's final round. Nick Armbrust was 88^th in the field at 252 to round out the lineup for the Braves.

Bradley returns to action next week, traveling to Madison, Ill., for the Derek Dolenc Invitational at Gateway National Golf Club Sept. 23 & 24.
