Ciaramitaro Even Par After Two Rounds At Dolenc

MADISON, Ill. – Redshirt senior Alex Ciaramitaro shot a pair of par 71's during day one action at the Derek Dolenc Invitational and is tied for 16^th in the standings, while Bradley Men's Golf is tied with Southern Utah for 15^th in the team 18-team field after the opening two rounds.

Ciaramataro capped last week's season-opening Crusader Collegiate with a career-best three-over 75 and was even better Monday at the par-71 Gateway National Golf Links, firing matching 71's to lead the Braves. He is tied for 16^th overall at par-142, one shot out of the top 10.

Freshman Josh Kirkham and junior Jalen Hodges are both tied for 53^rd in the clubhouse at eight-over 150. Kirkham fired the low round of his young Bradley career with a three-over 74 in the second round, following a morning round of 76. Hodges turned in matching 75's during Monday's action.

Freshman John Stillman matched his low round of the season with a two-over 73 in the afternoon. He carded an 83 in the opening round and is tied for 77^th overall at 156. Fellow freshman Nick Armbrust also tied his low round of the year (77) in the second round and is tied for 88^th overall at 157 heading into Tuesday's final round.

After a first-round 303, Bradley carded its lowest round of the season at nine-over 293 in the second round. The Braves are tied for 15^th overall at 596, two shots back of a tie for 13^th between Austin Peay and Murray State. UT-Martin has a 13-shot lead on the field at five-under 563 with Tennessee Tech following in second at 576.

The final round of the Derek Dolenc Invitational will tee off at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday with a shotgun start.
