CHICAGO – For the 10th time in its last 19 games, dating to last season, Bradley was forced to go extra time, but the Braves (1-3-3, 0-1-1 MVC) emerged from their latest overtime effort with a valuable point on the Missouri Valley Conference road after battling Loyola Chicago to a scoreless draw Wednesday night at Loyola Soccer Park.

Bradley entered the game second in The Valley by allowing only 19 shots on goal through its first six games, limiting the opposition to a .297 shots on goal percentage.  The Ramblers outshot the Braves, 25-9, Wednesday, but the hosts managed to direct only five of their attempts on target as Braacdley lowered it defensive shots on goal percentage to .270.

Loyola also set the Bradley opponent record for corner kicks in a game with 19, but the Braves would not concede a goal.  In fact, Bradley ran its record to 4-1-2 all time in the seven games it has surrendered at least 13 corner kicks, including a 3-0-1 record in the four games with more than 13 corners allowed.

After missing Saturday's game at Drake due to injury, senior keeper Nathan Wisbey returned to the pitch Wednesday and recorded three saves.  Aided by a pair of team saves, Wisbey recorded his third shutout of the season.

With its first of three, 3-game road swings complete, Bradley will return to action by hosting a pair of Missouri Valley Conference games at Shea Stadium.  The Braves will welcome Valparaiso for a 1 p.m. game Sunday, followed by the Oct. 5 Homecoming game versus Drake.  All general parking will be free for Sunday's game against the Crusaders.
