PEORIA, Ill. – A Teddy Bear Toss during Friday's "Cram the Coliseum" event along with a post-game shootaround following Sunday's contest highlight the weekend promotions for Bradley Women's Basketball, which returns to Renaissance Coliseum this weekend with sole possession of first-place in the Missouri Valley Conference standings.

Part of the Spring Welcome Week activities, Friday's 7 p.m. contest against Northern Iowa is "Cram the Coliseum" night and will feature a Teddy Bear Toss at halftime.  The Braves have partnered with Cuddles for Kinds, with fans asked to bring in new stuffed animals to be tossed onto the court at halftime to be used for therapy for children who are in need.  Following the Teddy Bear Toss the 5th grade girls' travel teams from Metamora and Germantown Hills will scrimmage during halftime.

Sunday's 2 p.m. matchup with defending MVC regular-season champion Drake will feature a free post-game shootaround.  Kids in 8th grade or younger in attendance will have the opportunity to shoot hoops with the Braves on the Renaissance Coliseum court following the game.

Bradley (14-2 overall, 5-0 MVC) is off to its best overall and MVC start in program history.  The Braves bring a six-game overall win streak into the weekend and have won a school record 13 consecutive home games.
