Bradley Track Heads to Indiana State

The Bradley track continues action during the early part of the indoor campaign, competing at Indiana State's John Gartland Invitational on Saturday.

MEET INFO
The Braves begin action on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT with the long jump. Prelims for the track events begin at 11:30 a.m. with final slated to start at 12:15 p.m.

Other Division I schools slated to compete include the host Sycamores, Evansville, Northern Illinois, Northern Kentucky and Valparaiso.

LAST TIME OUT
The Braves posted eight top-10 times at the John Craft Invitational last Saturday on the campus of Eastern Illinois.

Amelia Lesher led BU with a second-place finish in the 800m run, while three Braves crossed the finish line among the top seven for the BU women int eh mile – Aisling Joyce (third), Grace Breitbach (fifth), Lily Strauss (seventh).

Miguel Agyei led the BU men by placing fifth in the 60m hurdles with Charlie Parrish placing 10th in the mile.

McDONNELL QUALIFIES FOR PAN-AM GAMES
Away from the track, rookie Sophia McDonnell ran at the US Junior Cross Country Championship in San Diego last weekend. The freshman placed sixth in the 6K race with a time of 23:22.3, qualifying for the United States team for the Pan American Games.

Bradley heads to Iowa City for the Black & Gold Invite next Friday and Saturday.
