PEORIA, Ill. -- Fresh off a pair of runaway victories to open Missouri Valley Conference play, Bradley Women's Basketball has been selected as the NCAA's National Team of the Week announced Tuesday.

The Braves (11-2 overall, 2-0 MVC) matched the longest home win streak in program history at 12 with wins over Evansville (82-51) and Indiana State (91-75) to open league play last weekend.  Sophomore Lasha Petree, who was named MVC Player of the Week Monday, averaged 30 points per game in the two victories which included a career-best 36 points in Sunday's win over Indiana State.

Bradley closes out a season-long, three-game home stand Friday with a 7 p.m. game against I-74 rival Illinois State at Renaissance Coliseum.  The Braves and Redbirds are both 2-0 in Valley play heading into the matchup.
