The Bradley men's basketball program added an elite guard and proven winner on the first day of the signing period as Connor Hickman (Bloomington, Ind.) signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Braves program, beginning in 2021-22.

"Connor has championship DNA and talent that will be a very good fit within our university and program," said Bradley head coach Brian Wardle. "He is an all-around guard that has tremendous feel for the game and can make a lot of winning plays."

A 6-foot-3 combo guard, Hickman has amassed 73 wins during his first three seasons at Bloomington South High School. He helped lead the Panthers to a perfect 26-0 record during the 2019-20 campaign and a final No. 1 ranking in Indiana at the 4A level – the largest size for high school basketball in the state. Hickman was also a member of the nationally-ranked Indiana Elite AAU program last season, helping the team to an undefeated campaign.

During his junior season, Hickman averaged 15 points, three assists and four rebounds with the Panthers. He collected all-state and all-conference honors during the year, while also being named to the Indiana Junior All-Stars and the Supreme 15 Underclassmen Team by the IBCA. Overall, Hickman has keyed three sectional titles during his time at Bloomington South, while adding an Elite Eight and Sweet 16 appearance during his high school career.

"Connor is an extremely hard-working player who was projected as one of the top seniors in Indiana this year," said Bloomington South High School head coach J.R. Holmes. "He is a playmaker who can score in multiple ways, attacking well from both the left and the right. Connor played at his best in our biggest games of the season last year and was a huge key for our success during our undefeated season. We finished No. 1 in the state and most opponents had Connor circled at the top of the list on their scouting report. I have no doubt that he is going to do big things at the college level."

Hickman joins a program that has won back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference Championships for the first time in school history, while qualifying for the NCAA Tournament in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1954 and 1955.
