PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Women's Basketball opened the game with an 11-1 run and never looked back, breaking the Renaissance Coliseum scoring record in a 104-53 victory over Quincy Thursday afternoon in the final non-conference game of the year for the Braves. 

Junior Lasha Petree scored 16 of her game-high 19 points in the first half to help lead a Bradley (4-3 overall) offense that shot a season-best 56.9 percent from the field.  Petree, who climbed up two spots on Bradley's career scoring list into 19th, finished with 19 points, six rebounds, two blocks and three steals in just 15 minutes of action.  Lasha scored nine of Bradley's 14 points helping the Braves to a double-digit lead less than five minutes into the contest. 

Senior Gabi Haack added 12 points of her own in 13 minutes, as she broke into the top 10 in career scoring at BU; passing Genny Mueller on the all-time scoring chart.

The Bradley bench combined for 59 points and helped stretch what was a 51-30 halftime lead to as many as 54 points by late in the fourth quarter.  Haack hit her lone three-pointer early in third quarter that sparked a 12-0 run, extending the BU advantage to 66-34 nearing the late stages of the third period. 

All 14 Braves scored in the contest, including 11 BU players collecting five or more points and eight individuals turned in season-best scoring efforts.  The 104 points broke the Coliseum scoring record of 103 points set Nov. 27, 2016 in a 103-59 win over Eureka. 

The balanced offensive attack was helped by a 14-point effort off the bench from sophomore Mahri Petree as the sisters were both 7-for-11 from the field and combined for 33 points. 

Senior Emily Marsh helped lead Bradley on the glass, matching a career-best with nine rebounds (six offensive) to go with six points and four assists in her second straight start after missing the first five games of the year due to injury. 

The Bradley reserves dominated the fourth quarter, with the Braves going 13-for-16 from the field (81.3 percent) in the final 10 minutes (including 5-for-7 from beyond the arc).  Scoring her first career points in the game, freshman Sami Martin finished with nine points and seven rebounds to help highlight a fourth quarter surge that included a 20-1 run. 

Sophomore Violeta Verano dished out a season-best eight assists and was one of seven Bradley reserves to score at least five points in the convincing victory.

The Braves will have a two-week break from competition before opening Missouri Valley Conference play with a two-game series at Drake Jan. 1 & 2.
