The Bradley men's basketball team begins its quest for a third-straight Missouri Valley Conference Championship on Monday, Dec. 28 as the regular-season conference schedule was unveiled on Friday.

The conference adapted a new schedule format this season to reduce travel and place an emphasis on the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches and staff. The Valley will continue with an 18-game format in which each team will play four home series and four road series along with a single-game, home-and-home series with a designated travel partner.

A rematch of the 2020 Arch Madness Championship game tips off the conference slate as Bradley travels to face Valparaiso on Monday, Dec. 28 and Tuesday, Dec. 29. The Braves defeated the Crusaders, 80-66, at the MVC Championship last year to earn their second-straight Valley crown and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Bradley will then return home for its first conference games of the season at Carver Arena, hosting rival Loyola. The two games in Peoria are slated for Sunday, Jan. 3 and Monday, Jan. 4.

The Braves also host Evansville (Jan. 16-17), Illinois State (Jan. 20), Southern Illinois (Feb. 6-7) and Drake (Feb. 26-27), while traveling to face Northern Iowa (Jan. 9-10), Indiana State (Jan. 30-31), Missouri State (Feb. 13-14) and Illinois State (Feb. 17).

Game times and TV designations will be announced at a later date.

The Braves have won back-to-back Missouri Valley Championships for the first time in school history, while also qualifying for the NCAA Tournament in consecutive campaigns for the first time since 1954 and 1955. Bradley has started the 2020-21 campaign with a 3-1 record and returns to the court tonight, hosting South Dakota State at 7 p.m.
