Bradley senior Dan Bolt (Morton, IL/Morton H.S.) has been rated the top outfielder in the Missouri Valley Conference, according to an unveil of the D1Baseball.com Preseason Power Rankings of the position group Monday morning.

Bolt, who checks in at No. 33 among the 100 outfielders from across the nation ranked by college baseball's premier website, is the second Bradley player to appear in the website's preseason positional power rankings, joining senior SS Luke Shadid, who is No. 12 at his position.  Bolt previously was ranked as the No. 29 analytical hitter in the nation by D1Baseball.com as part of its preseason features.

A preseason All-Missouri Valley Conference selection, Bolt earned All-MVC second-team honors as a junior in 2019, when he hit .327 in 50 games with 11 home runs, 40 RBIs and a 1.048 OPS.  Bolt and Missouri State sophomore Dakota Kotowski are the only two Valley outfielders to make the list of 100 players in the D1Baseball.com Outfield Power Rankings.

Bradley will open its 120th baseball season this weekend, when the Braves visit Incarnate Word for a 3-game series in San Antonio.  The Friday and Saturday games both are slated for 6:30 p.m. start times and Sunday's series finale is set for 1 o'clock.
