PEORIA, Ill. -- Dylan Ross and Kaysie Shebeneck are the newest additions to the Bradley Volleyball coaching staff with fifth-year head coach Carol Price-Torok announcing Friday that the pair joined the Braves as assistant coaches for the 2020 season.

"Kaysie and Dylan both bring unique playing and coaching experiences to our program," said Torok.  "Their experiences and knowledge will only help us improve and I'm excited to watch how they help our team grow."

Shebeneck will serve as the team's recruiting coordinator after spending the 2019 season as an assistant coach at Buffalo, where she oversaw the team's setters in addition to assisting with recruiting efforts and administrative duties.

Prior to Buffalo, Shebeneck was the Director of Operations at Washington State where she helped the Cougars to a 41-26 combined record during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.  Washington State made a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances during her time in Pullman, Wash., capping a 23-10 campaign in 2018 by reaching the Sweet 16 after a 2017 season in which the Cougars reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.  In addition, Shebeneck coached the Washington State Men's Club Volleyball team.

Shebeneck was a four-year letterwinner at Texas A&M, graduating in 2017 with degrees in both Spanish and International Studies.  The setter helped the Aggies to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and a 2015 SEC title.  Texas A&M was 84-38 (.689) over her four years as a student-athlete and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament her freshman and junior seasons.

A two-time Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year, Shebeneck has also coached at the club level with Club ZZU in Pullman, Wash., (2018) and the Aggie Elite Volleyball Club (2016-17).

A Racine, Wis., native Shebeneck has five years of experience as an English as a Second Language teacher in Wisconsin, Texas and Chile.

Ross comes to The Hilltop after spending the 2019 season as a volunteer assistant coach at Houston.  In his one season with the Cougars, Ross helped Houston to its first postseason appearance in nearly two decades with the squad reaching the NIVC this past fall.

Houston followed up a 4-14 record in the American Athletic Conference in 2018 with a 10-6 mark in 2019 to finish one game out of a tie for the AAC West Division title with head coach David Rehr earning AAC Coach of the Year honors.  Working primarily with the outside hitters, Ross helped mentor Megan Duncan, who earned second-team all-conference honors this fall.

Prior to his time at Houston, Ross was a graduate assistant at Arkansas State for the 2018 season.  The Red Wolves reached the NIVC while Ross was in Jonesboro, Ark., during a 19-14 campaign.  He earned a master's degree in sports administration in 2019.

A 2018 Loras College graduate, Ross served as a student assistant for the women's volleyball program at his alma mater while working toward his degree in sports management.

Ross, who is from Oak Forest, Ill., originally, was a four-year letterwinner at Loras, holding school season and career kills records for the Duhawks.  He helped Loras to the championship match of the 2018 Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Tournament and was a second-team all-conference performer that same season.
