MVC SINGLES PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sandra Maletin, Bradley, Jr., Belgrade, Serbia
  • Bradley's No. 1 Singles player remained undefeated this spring, but lost out an opportunity for a Power 5 win due to the "play-to-clinch" team scoring format.
  • Maletin moved to 5-0 this spring by posting a 6-3, 6-3 win against Kansas City's Michaela Xibilia, putting the Braves on the board in the eventual 5-2 loss to the Kangaroos.
  • Maletin held a 5-0 lead in the third set of her Sunday match against Missouri's Serena Nash when play was halted after the Tigers secured the team victory.
  • The honor is the second of the season (Jan. 28) and fifth of Maletin's career.

HALF A HUNDRED
  • Saturday's win at Kansas City was Maletin's 50th career singles victory, making her the 10th player in Bradley history to win 50 career singles matches.
  • In addition to ranking 10th in program history with 50 career singles wins, Maletin's .685 winning percentage (50-23) is tied for the fourth-best in program history, but is the best by any Bradley player since Gwen Holdman set the record with a .722 (39-15) record from 1990-94.

RETURNING HOME
  • After completing a 4-match road swing with a 1-3 record, Bradley will return home four a 4-match home stand, which begins Sunday morning versus Milwaukee at the Clubs at River City.
  • Milwaukee owns a slim, 9-8 lead in the all-time series against the Braves, though Bradley has won the last three matchups.
  • The home stand will continue with a Feb. 22 triangular featuring Western Illinois (9 a.m.) and Northern Illinois (5 p.m.), then will conclude Feb. 28 against Southeast Missouri State (4 p.m.), all scheduled for the indoor courts at the Clubs at River City.
