Ciaramitaro Leads Braves On Day One At Savannah Harbor

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Senior Alex Ciaramitaro had an eagle during his second round and is tied for 16^th in the individual standings as he helped the Bradley Men's Golf team finish the day 18^th in the field at the Invitational at Savannah Harbor.

In the spring opener for the Braves, Ciaramitaro closed Saturday's action at the par-72 Club at Savannah Harbor at four-over 148 and is tied for 16^th overall to pace his squad. Just two shots out of the top seven, Ciaramitaro eagled the par-5, 530-yard 11^th hole during a second-round 73. He had a team-best 75 in the morning round.

Bradley is 18^th overall in the standings at 623, following up a first-round 309 with a 314 in the afternoon. The Braves enter Sunday's final round 15 shots back of 15^th-place Iona (608) and 13 behind Navy (610) for 16^th. Delaware and Valparaiso lead the 19-team field at eight-over 584.

Junior Jalen Hodges followed up a first-round 77 with a 78 in the afternoon, closing Saturday in a tie for 74^th at 155. Freshman Josh Kirkham is three back of Hodges in a tie for 86^th at 158, chasing a first-round 76 with an 82.

Freshman John Stillman is 93^rd overall (163), posting rounds of 82 and 81. Fellow freshman Nick Armbrust rounded out the scoring for Bradley in a tie for 94^th (165) after scores of 81 and 84.

Final round action at the Invitational at Savannah Harbor tees off Sunday at 7 a.m. (CST).
