The game will be made up as part of a noon doubleheader Saturday at Tennessee Tech's Bush Stadium. Bradley Baseball returns to The Volunteer State for a second week in a row as the Braves will visit Tennessee Tech for a 3-game weekend series at Bush Stadium. The Braves own a 7-5 all-time record against Tennessee Tech, including a 5-4 advantage in true road games against the Golden Eagles, in a series that dates back to 1986. PITCHER-OF-THE-WEEK NOMINEE Nick King, Bradley, Jr., RHP, Columbia, MO • King worked 4.0 scoreless IP to start Saturday's game at Austin Peay, leading the Braves to their first win of the season. • King surrendered just one hit, walked two and struck out four Saturday against the Governors. TWO PLAYERS, 20 TOTAL BASES • Bradley senior LF Dan Bolt and junior 2B Adam Rellihan each racked up 10 total bases in Saturday's 11-4 win against Austin Peay. • Bolt was 4-for-6 with two home runs and two singles for his 10 bases, while Rellihan was 3-for-4 with a double and two home runs for his 10 bases. • Both Bolt and Rellihan qualified for Saturday's Top 30 Hitters list produced by D1Baseball.com. SHADID GETS ON BASE • Bradley senior SS Luke Shadid continues to find ways to get on base and now has reached safely in 13 consecutive games, dating to last season. • Although he had just two hits in the four games of this past week's SAF Dirt Classic in Tennessee, Shadid was hit by two pitches and walked four times. • Though hitting .280 through the first seven games, Shadid leads the Braves with five walks and three hit-by-pitches to support his team-best .455 on-base percentage.
