Bradley Track Heads to Notre Dame

The Bradley track and field teams head to Notre Dame for this weekend's Meyo Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

MEET INFO
The action begins on Notre Dame's campus at 3:30 p.m. CT on Friday. The Braves are slated for the 60m hurdles, 5,000m run and distance medley relay in the first day of action.

Saturday's action starts at 8:45 a.m. CT with the Braves slated to compete at 9:15 a.m. with the 3,000m run. Bradley will also feature runners in the mile, 400m and 800m in the meet's second day with both McKenzie Altmayer and Gabby Juarez slated for the championship heats in the 3,000m run.

LAST TIME OUT
Sophomore Hannah Ivy led the Braves at Iowa's Black & Gold Invite last Saturday. The sophomore clocked a time of 57.72 in the 400m run, clocking the second-fastest time in school history and the quickest since Melodie Turner set the school record in 1991 (56.87).

Overall, Bradley posted 14 top-10 finishes at the meet.

LAST YEAR AT NOTRE DAME
The Braves combined for eight top-10 marks in school history during the two-day meet a year ago. Four of the Braves that posted a top-10 time in 2019 are set to run in the same event this season – Scott Seymour and Nick Porter in the 800m and Ben Wagoner and Jack Franklin in the 3,000m.

Bradley is set to compete in a pair of meets next weekend with the Iowa State Classic and GVSU Big Meet both set for Friday and Saturday.
