ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Senior Taylor Ledwein (New Prague, Minn./New Prague) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Friday after picking up her third top-10 finish of the season at the River Landing Classic in Wallace, N.C.

Ledwein earned her second MVC Golfer of the Week honor of the season, after taking home the award after a second-place finish at the Little Rock Classic to wrap up the fall schedule.

She earned her third top-10 finish in four outings this season, taking fifth at the River Landing Classic in Wallace, N.C., while helping the Braves to an eighth-place team finish.  Ledwein, who picked up her 16th career top-10 finish, followed up matching rounds of 74 during Monday's action with a two-under 70 on Tuesday at the par-72 River Landing Country Club to finish at two-over 218 for the event.  She was two shots back of the individual co-champs thanks to her final round which included five birdies.

Ledwein lowered her season stroke average to 72.82, which would be a Missouri Valley Conference season record.  She missed the first three tournaments of the fall due to injury, before returning to the Bradley lineup in mid-October.  Six of her 11 rounds this season have been par or better.

Ledwein earned MVC Golfer of the Week honors for the seventh time in her career to join Danielle Lemek (19) as the only seven-time MVC Golfer of the Week honorees in program history.  In addition, she is the 13th player in MVC history to earn the award seven times.
