The 2020 Kaboom! Awards, presented by RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and supported by PNC, continues today with the presentation of the Coach Joe Stowell Awards.  Our morning posting will recognize the three finalists for the female award and the afternoon posting will spotlight the male award finalists.  Each video concludes with the announcement of the winner.

Introduced in 2007, the Coach Joe Stowell Award, is presented annually to recognize the male and female student-athletes who best exemplify Stowell's love for Bradley Athletics, as well as dedication to their teams and teammates.  Stowell has been directly associated with Bradley Athletics for more than 70 years, first as a student-athlete from 1946-50, then as a men's basketball assistant coach from 1956-65, the second-winningest men's basketball head coach in program history from 1965-78, an assistant athletic director from 1978-85, the women's basketball head coach from 1981-83 and the men's basketball radio analyst since 1985.  In 56 seasons, Stowell was witness to 1,543 men's basketball games in his various roles and he has attended countless other Bradley Athletics events as an avid fan of his beloved Braves.

The three female finalists are Natalia Barbery (Tennis), Abby Jockisch (Cross Country/Track) and Taylor Ledwein (Women's Golf).

The Kaboom! Awards will continue this afternoon with the presentation of the male finalists for the 2020 Coach Joe Stowell Award.
