In honor of Central Illinois health-care workers and their efforts to combat the COVID-19 virus, the Bradley Athletic Department announced a special ticket initiative to show Peoria's appreciation during the 2020-21 men's basketball season.

Bradley is introducing a $5 ticket for fans to purchase, which will all be donated to area health-care employees and their families. Bradley Athletics will also match every purchased ticket to double the donation and reciprocate Central Illinois' appreciation.

"Bradley Athletics is truly thankful for all of our area health-care workers and we would like to honor their efforts in serving and caring for our community during such a uniquely challenging time," said Bradley Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Chris Reynolds. "As a native Peorian, this small gesture is a show of respect and gratitude for everyone who selflessly attends to those in need."

The tickets can be purchased by clicking here and will be good for a to be determined men's basketball game during the 2020-21 season. Once the schedule is announced, health-care employees can go online or call the Bradley Ticket Office and request up to four tickets for the selected contest at no charge from the donated allotment, while supplies last.

The Braves have won back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference titles for the first time in school history, while qualifying for the NCAA Tournament in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1954 and 1955. Overall, Bradley finished the 2019-20 campaign with a 23-11 record – its most wins since the 1993-94 campaign.
