Tennis Falls Against DePaul

PEORIA – Bozana Lojpur's three-set win at No. 2 singles was the bright spot of the day as Bradley suffered a 5-2 dual match defeat to the DePaul Blue Demons at The Clubs at River City.
 
DePaul jumped on the Braves early, convincingly winning the doubles point by winning doubles No. 1 and No. 3.  Freshman Maria Bezmenova picked up her first collegiate win at No. 2 doubles in tandem with Victoria Sanchez Bronzetti, beating the Blue Demons 7-5.
 
The Braves fell behind early in singles, dropping the first three decisions which gave DePaul the match victory.
 
Lojpur won a two-hour thriller at No. 2 singles, clinching Bradley's first point of the match by a score of 7-6 (6) 4-6, 6-4.
 
The Braves will look to rebound on Saturday, February 6th at 1:00 PM against UIC at The Clubs at River City.

Due to Restore Illinois Phase 4 COVID mitigation protocols, fans will not be permitted to attend Bradley's indoor competitions at the Clubs at River City.
