Kirkham Paces Men’s Golf At Flyer Invitational

KETTERING, Ohio -- For the sixth time in as many outings, junior Josh Kirkham was the top finisher for Bradley Men's Golf as he tied for 25th to help the Braves to a 10th-place team finish at the Flyer Invitational Tuesday in BU's final outing of the 2021 Fall schedule.

Kirkham had paced Bradley in each of the first five outings of the year and the Flyer Invite was no different as Kirkham fired a four-over 75 in Tuesday's final round at the par-71 NCR Country Club. Closing the Fall slate with a team-best 74.25 stroke average, Kirkham finished at 10-over 223 to pace the Braves and was two shots out of the top 20.

Bradley finished 10th in the team standings at 930, posting a 314 on the final day to finish 26 shots back of ninth-place Dayton (904). Wright State claimed the team title at four-under 848 with Youngstown State second at 18-over 870 and Ball State third (871).

Senior Aaeri Krishnan closed out his best tournament of the fall with a six-over 77 to tie for 34th in the field at 225.

Junior Roy Radke and sophomore Brady Kreiter tied for 62nd overall at 243 with both carding 81's Tuesday. Senior Jalen Hodges rounded out the scoring for the Braves in a tie for 65th at 244, closing out play with an 85.

The Braves will open the 2022 Spring schedule in February.
