PEORIA, Ill. – Senior setter Kora Kauling (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley/Wichita State) has been named this week's Bradley Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after highlighting a 2-0 weekend for Bradley Volleyball by collecting the first triple-double by a Brave since 2003.

Kauling, who averaged 2.00 kills, 6.75 assists, 3.00 digs and nearly one block per set while attacking at a .343 clip in wins over Drake and Northern Iowa, had 10 kills, 27 assists, three blocks and a season-best 15 digs in Saturday's five-set victory against Northern Iowa.  The triple-double was the first for a Brave going back to Ashley Vance in 2003 and was the first triple-double with 10 or more kills at Bradley since 2000.  Friday against Drake, Kauling notched six kills, 27 assists, nine digs and four blocks to help the Braves to a sweep of the Bulldogs.  A family consumer science major, Kauling owns a 3.83 cumulative grade point average.

Each week, a student-athlete is selected as the Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week.  The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.

Kauling and the Braves return to action Friday, opening a two-match road swing Friday with a 6 p.m. contest at Missouri State.
