PEORIA, Ill. -- Third-year Bradley Women's Golf Head Coach Halley Morell received a pair of commitments during the Fall Signing Period with Allison Pacocha (Eureka, Ill./Eureka) and junior college transfer Grace Aromando (Lake St. Louis, Mo./St. Joseph's Academy/Seminole State College) signing National Letters of Intent to attend Bradley.

A three-time Peoria Journal Star Golfer of the Year, Pacocha claimed the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class A individual state championship as a sophomore and placed in the top four at the IHSA Class A Championship in each of the three years the event was held during her prep career.  She fired a final round 69 to claim the 2019 IHSA Class A state title by four shots, after a third-place finish at the state tournament as a freshman.

Pacocha, who won conference individual titles each of her four prep seasons, took fourth at the state championship as a senior.  She also helped the Hornets to three conference team titles, capping her prep career by posting a 71.9 stroke average this fall.

"Allison is one of the most accomplished golfers in the state of Illinois and I believe she will make an immediate impact on our program through not only her golf game, but also her attitude and work ethic," said Morell.  "She is a proven competitor on every level and I am excited to welcome her to campus next fall."

Aromando will transfer to Bradley after spending the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years at Seminole State College of Florida, where she helped the Raiders to a NJCAA national title last spring.  This fall, she owns a 76.00 stroke average.  During her prep career, Aromando was part of a four-time state championship team at St. Joseph's and was a First-Team All-Metro selection.

"As a transfer from Seminole State, Grace brings a champion mindset into our program, along with a wealth of experience playing against Division I competition," stated Morell.  "Her desire to be the best player and teammate that she can be will elevate our team to the next level."

Bradley Women's Golf will open its 2022 Spring schedule Feb. 25-27 in Rio Verde, Ariz., at the Rio Verde Invitational.
