PEORIA, IL – Bradley fifth-year senior guard Gabi Haack (Elk River, Minn./Elk River HS) scored 14 of her game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter, breaking Bradley's career scoring record while leading the Braves (3-0) to a 64-57 win against Wisconsin (1-2) Friday night at Renaissance Coliseum.

Haack entered the game in need of 18 points to break the oldest women's basketball program career scoring record in the Missouri Valley Conference – Karen Anderson scored 1,679 points for the Braves from 1979-83 – and she surpassed that total by draining a wing 3-pointer for a 53-48 lead with 7:16 left in the game.

The record-breaking triple capped a personal 8-0 scoring run that flipped a 48-45 Wisconsin lead with 8:57 left in the game to the 53-48 advantage that the Braves would not surrender the rest of the way.  Already the school's all-time leader for career free throws made, Haack made 6-of-6 charity attempts in the final 1:43 to secure Bradley's first win against a Big Ten Conference opponent since its 98-92 victory against Illinois Nov. 8, 2013 at Renaissance Coliseum.  With the win, the Braves improved to 3-1 all-time at Renaissance Coliseum against Big Ten competition – the Braves are 1-1 at home against Illinois, 1-0 vs. Iowa and now 1-0 against Wisconsin since the building opened in 2010.

While Haack was Bradley's lone double-digit scorer, the Braves got a solid all-around game from junior forward Sierra Morrow, who finished with nine points, a game-high 10 rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots.  Making her season debut, sophomore forward Isis Fitch added nine points and six rebounds off the bench and freshman guard Caroline Waite added nine points on three 3-point field goals, giving her 13 triples through the first three games of the season.

Sydney Hilliard led the Badgers with 19 points, while Julie Pospisilova chipped in with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

Wisconsin took advantage of Bradley's slow start to build an 11-4 lead, but the Braves scored the final eight points of the first quarter to take a 12-11 lead through 10 minutes.  The lead changed hands nine times the rest of the way and neither team led by more than five until Haack started her free throw spree inside the final two minutes.

Bradley entered the game among the nation's leaders in field goal percentage, but the Braves were just 19-for-55 (.345) from the field Friday.  They countered by holding Wisconsin to a 35.3 percent (24-for-68) effort.  Bradley finished with a 44-39 rebounding edge and outscored the Badgers, 19-6, in transition.

Off to a 3-0 start for just the fifth time in the program's 47-year history, the Braves will look to extend the streak when they play their first road game of the season Monday night (6 p.m.) at Northern Illinois.  Bradley also will visit Minnesota Nov. 26, before returning home to host Tulsa Dec. 1.
