PEORIA, IL – Freshmen Kwasi Boateng and Camden Starzyk both scored for the Bradley soccer team to lead the Braves to a 2-1 Senior Night victory on Saturday night at Shea Stadium. The Braves finish their regular season with a 4-11-1 record and 3-7-0 mark in Missouri Valley Conference action, while the Purple Aces drop to 3-13-1 and 3-6-1 versus league foes.

Boateng got things started for BU in the ninth minute of action with his first collegiate goal. Off a pass into the box from Jared Sinnaeve, Boateng flicked the ball off the post and into the net for the 1-0 advantage. Classmate Michael Rogalski also registered an assist on the game's first goal.

Evansville would eventually pull even in the 57th minute when Jakub Hall scored from the spot. However, Starzyk would put Bradley in front for good with his first career tally in the 73rd minute. From right outside the corner of the box, Starzyk curled one into the goal for the 2-1 final tally. Sinnaeve added his second assist of the night on the game-winning goal.

The Bradley defense secured the win from there, not allowing another shot on goal. Bryce Logan earned the victory in net in his final home game, posting two saves.

Evansville finished the night with an 8-4 advantage in shots and a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.

The Braves now turn their focus toward the postseason with an MVC Quarterfinal contest against SIU Edwardsville slated for Tuesday.
