MVC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
•  Bradley owns a 20-16-7 (.547) all-time record in the MVC Men's Soccer Championship with three postseason titles (2007, 2010 and 2013).
•  The Braves have advanced to at least the semifinal round of the conference tournament 19 times, most recently in 2019 after a first-round win against Evansville.
• Bradley is 12-2-1 (.833) all-time in MVC Tournament first-round games, adding a PK shootout win in that lone tie at Evansville in 2008.

SERIES HISTORY
21st Meeting | SIUE leads 10-8-2 | Bradley leads at home, 10-7-2
• The third matchup of the 2021 fall season will be the 21st all-time meeting between Bradley and SIU Edwardsville.
• The series against SIUE dates back to Bradley's third season as a NCAA program, a 5-2 Cougars win Sept. 22, 1989 in Edwardsville.
• While SIUE won the first four series meetings from 1989-92, Bradley owns an 8-6-2 advantage since earning its first series win Sept. 11, 1993 at Becker Park.
• Now in its second stint of MVC men's soccer membership (2010-16, 2021), SIUE is 6-5-2 in the 13 series meetings against Bradley as Valley rivals.
• Tuesday's game will be the fourth postseason meeting between the Braves and Cougars: the teams have split the first three, 1-1-1, with Bradley earning a PK shootout in the 2010 championship game for the postseason edge.
• Tuesday's first-round game will be the first postseason matchup between the two teams at SIUE.

2021 SEASON SERIES RECAP
Sept. 25 at SIUE: Bradley 4, SIUE 3 (2ot) | Oct. 23 at Bradley: Bradley 1, SIUE 0
•  Bradley swept the regular-season series in completely contrasting fashion.
•  The teams scored six alternating goals during regulation, before the Braves notched the golden winner with 2:59 left to play to earn a 4-3 win Sept. 25 at Korte Stadium.
•  Each scoring inside the game's first five minutes, the teams combined for five first-half goals in the first meeting, as well as five cards after halftime (the Cougars played a man down for the final 28:05).
•  A recent conversion from the back line to the top of Bradley's attack, sophomore Jack Douglas scored the tying goal in the 70th minute, then added the golden winner at 107:01.
•  Bradley allowed only one shot on goal in the rematch Oct. 23 at Shea Stadium and Douglas was again in on the heroics, assisting Jake Schoffstall's game-winner in the 77th minute for the 1-0 Bradley victory in the return matchup.
•  Bradley is seeking a 3-game season sweep against the same opponent for the second time in as many tries in the program's 35-year history after earning its first 3-game sweep against Evansville in 2019.
