Hannah Thompson Named Prairie Farms Athlete of the Month

Senior Hannah Thompson of the volleyball team is the Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month, earning the honor after a fan vote for the month of November.

Thompson led BU volleyball during the final month of the regular season as Bradley finished third in the Missouri Valley Conference standings. The senior collected a team-best 2.91 kills, 4.18 digs and 0.36 blocks in six contests. She also turned in three double-doubles in November, including one in a road victory at MVC regular-champion Loyola on Nov. 12, handing the Ramblers their lone home loss of the season.

Overall, Thompson finished the season by earning first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors – becoming just the second Brave in program history to collect the accolade three times. She moved into sixth in career kills in the regular-season finale at Illinois State, while also becoming the third player in MVC history to reach 1,300 career kills and 1,800 career digs.

Thompson earned the Bradley Athlete of the Month accolades after a fan vote on the school's twitter account. She collected 41 percent of the vote to beat out Gabi Haack of the women's basketball team (26 percent), Nicola Jansen of women's cross country (23 percent) and Terry Roberts of the men's basketball team (10 percent).
