Braves Post Three Top-10 Times at EIU

The Bradley track and field teams posted three top-10 times in school history on Friday at the EIU Friday Night Special in its final meet before the 2021 MVC Indoor Track & Field Championship.

The women's 400m dash highlighted the day for the Braves. Freshman Reina McMillan ran the track in 58.99, posting the fourth-best time in school history. Junior Hannah Ivy wasn't far behind with a mark of 59.31, while T'ya Suber also added her name to the school's top 10 list and now ranks ninth at 1:00.86.

Freshman Sierra Bryant led the way for BU in the 200m dash in 26.46. The rookie topped her previous best time by 21 hundredths of a second and now owns the fourth-best mark in school history.

Three Bradley men also ran at Eastern Illinois. Junior Miguel Agyei posted a time of 52.41 in his first career attempt at the 400m dash, while freshman Rodrigo Alvarez Gonzalez and junior Jack Franklin posted times of 9:02.62 and 9:14.65 in the 3,000m run.

The Braves are back in action next weekend, competing at the MVC Championship. The three-day meet is set to begin on Friday on the campus of Northern Iowa.
