NORMAL, IL – The start time for Saturday's series finale between Bradley and #30 Ball State has been moved up two-and-a-half hours with the first pitch now scheduled for 5:30 p.m. this evening at The Corn Crib.

With a break in the area's winter weather and a sudden cancellation of Ball State's original weekend series at Charleston Southern, the teams quickly rallied to schedule the 3-game set at the neutral venue. In a pair of pitching duels, the Cardinals took both games of Friday night's doubleheader at The Corn Crib, 4-3 in 10 innings and 5-0 in the 7-inning nightcap.

Following Saturday's series finale, Bradley (0-2) will be on the road next weekend for a 3-game series at New Orleans. Friday's series opener is slated for a 6 p.m. start at Maestri Field, named in honor of former Bradley student-athlete and multi-sport coach Ron Maestri, who went on to become a Hall-of-Fame baseball coach and athletic director career at UNO.
