Cedar Falls, Iowa – The Bradley women's track and field team added another title and two-All-Valley performances to wrap up the team's most successful performance at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship on Sunday.

Freshman Julia Nielsen highlighted the day for the Braves, claiming the individual title in the 800m run. The rookie clocked a time of 2:09.16 to edge out her sister, Wilma Nielsen, by 16 hundredths of a second for the title. Julia's time is the second-best in school history – and just 13th hundredths of a second behind Wilma's record of 2:09.03.

Wilma earned All-Valley honors for the second time during the championship with her runner-up finish. The rookie ran a time of 2:09.32 in the 800m to go along with her second-place finish in the mile run on Saturday. Wilma was named the MVC Freshman of the Year for her performance during the weekend, collecting a rookie-best 16 points during the three-day meet.

Freshman Tiana LoStracco also scored for the Braves in the 800m, placing fifth with a time of 2:12.06 – the seventh-best mark in school history.

The Braves also reached the podium in the 4x400 relay on Sunday. The team of T'ya Suber, LoStracco, Reina McMillan and Hannah Ivy placed third in the event with a school-record time of 3:54.12. The four topped the prior BU standard by more than four seconds as the previous record of 3:58.33 was set in 2014.

As a team, the Bradley women collected 58 points to place sixth at the MVC Championship. BU's 58 points are the most in program history, topping the previous standard of 47 points in 2015.

The Bradley men also wrapped up their championship with the men's 4x400 relay in action. The Braves team of Miguel Agyei, Zach Albrecht, Aidan Donohue and Alex Klinkner posted a time of 3:25.73 to finish fifth in the event.

As a team, the Bradley men scored 51 points to finish fifth in the standings. The Braves improved their point total by 17 points from a season ago as it marks the first time in school history that both the men and women eclipsed 50 points at the same MVC Indoor Championship.
