SERIES HISTORY | LAST MEETING.
Bradley and UIC played last season at UIC, where the Braves fell, 5-2. The Flames and Braves are tied in the all-time series, 6-6.

The last time Bradley and Eastern Michigan faced off in 1994, none of the Braves' current roster was born. The Eagles lead the all-time series 2-0 over the Braves.

LAST TIME OUT
  • The class of 2022 put out strong singles performances two weeks ago against DePaul.
  • Bozana Lojpur won a two-hour, three set marathon match at No. 2 singles by a score of 7-6, 4-6, 6-4.
  • Lojpur also was named Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
  • At No. 6 singles, Nikki Perlwitz gutted out a gritty, three-set win 5-7, 7-5, 1-0 (8).
  • While experience prevailed in singles, it was youth that was the bright spot in doubles.
  • The tandem of freshman Maria Bezmenova and sophomore Victoria Sánchez Bronzetti won at No 2. Doubles, 7-5.
ANOTHER ONE
  • After Bezmenova picked up her first collegiate win last weekend at No. 2 doubles, her classmate, Juliana Martinez, will be available to make her collegiate debut this weekend.
  • A 4-star recruit out of high school by Tennis Recruiting Network, Martinez has been ranked as high as 138th nationally (2017) during her junior career.

GOING BACK-TO-BACK
  • This is the first of four scenarios this season when the Braves are slated to play on back-to-back days.
  • In the abbreviated 2019-20 campaign, Bradley was 3-3 in matches played on back-to-back days.

REVISITING SUCCESS
  • The Braves will search for their third consecutive winning season, a would-be first since 1990-93 and only the third time in program history.
  • Bradley has posted a 23-14 (.622) combined record since the start of the 2018-19 season.

THE COACH
  • Head Coach Matt Tyler is in his eighth season at the Tennis helm for the Braves, and begins the year as second-winningest coach in program history with 68 career wins.
  • Tyler will be seeking his first career wins against both the Flames and Eagles this weekend.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
Due to Restore Illinois Phase 4 COVID mitigation protocols, fans will not be permitted to attend Bradley's indoor competitions at the Clubs at River City.
