SERIES NOTES
Bradley leads 1-0
•  Bradley has faced Alabama State on the baseball diamond only one previous time, earning an 11-1 victory in Montgomery to open its 1956 College World Series season.
•  The Braves followed up that 1956 opener against the Hornets with six consecutive road games versus military base programs:  at Pensacola Naval Air Station (2-0), at Whiting Naval Air Station (2-0) and at Fort Benning (1-1).
•  Bradley is 4-1 (.800) all-time against programs in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, most-recently dropping a 9-7 decision to Texas Southern Feb. 28, 2016 during the Irish Alamo Classic.
•  The Braves swept a 3-game road series at Alcorn State Feb. 14-16, 2014.
•  Bradley is scheduled to face another SWAC team, Jackson State, next weekend, but the series is up in the air as Jackson, MS deals with a continued lack of water due to last month's winter storm.
