Men’s Golf Takes Third At John Dallio Match Play

LEMONT, Ill. – Brady Kreiter and John Stillman each won both of their matches as the pair helped Bradley Men's Golf split matchups with DePaul and Chicago State to take third at the John Dallio Memorial Friday.

Bradley took third in the four-team match play event that included DePaul, Chicago State and Missouri Valley Conference rival Loyola held at the par-72 Ruffled Feathers Golf Club. The Braves were paired with tournament-host DePaul in the day's first round with the Blue Demons prevailing 4-2. Bradley rebounded from the setback with a 5-1 victory over Chicago State in the afternoon's consolation match to finish third overall.

Kreiter pulled out a pair of 1 Up wins, topping DePaul's Perry Chong in the opening round match, before posting another 1 Up victory against Chicago State's Isaac Boore in the afternoon.

Stillman was a 4 and 2 winner in his matchup with DePaul's Grant Boyson in the morning as he and Kreiter combined for Bradley's two points against the Blue Demons. In the afternoon match, Stillman ran away with a 5 and 4 victory over Chicago State's Joy Gunaseelan.

Playing in the #1 spot for the Braves, senior Alex Ciaramitaro rebounded from a 4 and 3 loss vs. Conor Glennon of DePaul to start the day to halve his match against Chicago State's Kevin Bullington. In similar fashion, Jalen Hodges dropped a 3 and 2 decision to Artemiy Yalovenko of DePaul in the morning, only to halve his contest against Chicago State's Keegan Easley.

Josh Kirkham was a 3 Up winner against Chicago State's Josh Stig after he fell to DePaul's Noah Kolar 1 Down to start the day. Sophomore Roy Radke posted a convincing 6 and 4 win over Chicago State's Grant Sell in the consolation match, following a 4 and 2 setback to DePaul's Nik Gatmaytan to open the day.

Bradley returns to action Monday and Tuesday in Dickson, Tenn., at the Murray State Invitational.
