ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Valley Conference has postponed the Bradley-Indiana State baseball four-game series (Friday-Sunday, April 30-May 2) at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium in Terre Haute, Ind., due to positive COVID-19 test results within Bradley's Tier I personnel, which consists of student-athletes, coaches, managers and staff.  Subsequent contact tracing revealed that Bradley did not have the minimum number of medically cleared student-athletes to play.   It's unlikely the series will be rescheduled.

Bradley is scheduled to return to action May 7 when the Braves are slated to open a 4-game Valley series against Valpariso at Dozer Park.  The series against Valpo will be played as a single game Friday, May 7 (6 p.m.), a doubleheader Saturday, May 8 (1 p.m.) and a single game Sunday, May 9 (1 p.m.).  Following up on what became 10 consecutive home games against Evansville, Southern Illinois and Saint Louis, the series against Valpo will extend Bradley's home stand to 14 games, its longest stretch of consecutive home games since a 15-game sequence April 11-25, 1984.

MVC athletically related activities will take place only to the extent permitted by local environments and applicable national, state, local and institutional guidelines in order to safeguard the health and safety of participants, staff and fans.
