Men’s Golf Eighth After Day One At Murray State Invite

DICKSON, Tenn. – Junior Jalen Hodges and sophomore Roy Radke are both tied for 23^rd overall at three-over par as the pair helped Bradley Men's Golf close Monday's opening day of action at the Murray State Invitational eighth in the 15-team standings after two rounds of play.

The Braves had a solid start with an opening-round of nine-over 297 at the par-72 Greystone Golf Club and followed it up with a seven-over 295 to finish Monday's 36 holes alone in eighth at 16-over 592. Bradley is four shots back of seventh-place Bellarmine (588) and seven strokes behind tournament-host Murray State, which is sixth in the team standings at 585.

Belmont fired a pair of seven-under 281's and leads the field at 14-under 562, while second-place UT Martin is two shots back of Belmont at 564 despite firing the lowest team round of the tournament with a 12-under 276 in the opening round.

Hodges had the low round of the day for the Braves with his second-round 72 on the heels of a first-round 75 and is tied with Radke for 23^rd overall at three-over (147). Radke and Josh Kirkham had the low first-round scores for Bradley with the duo carding matching 73's to start the day. Radke finished out the day with a two-over 74, while Kirkham is just one shot back of Hodges and Radke at four-over 148 in a tie for 30^th after a second-round 75.

Brady Kreiter was six shots better in the afternoon, chasing a first-round 80 with his lowest round as a Brave. He fired a two-over 74 in the second round and is tied for 60^th overall at 154. Senior Alex Ciaramitaro rounds out the scoring for the Braves in a tie for 64^th (155), posting scores of 76 and 79 Monday.

The final round of the Murray State Invitational tees off Tuesday at 9 a.m.
