MURRAY, Ky. – Senior Taylor Ledwein carded a three-under 69 in the first round and is tied for the individual lead, while Bradley Women's Golf finds itself in a tie for fifth in the team standings after the opening two rounds of play at the Jan Weaver Invitational.

Fresh off claiming the second medalist title of her career at last week's Diane Daugherty Invitational, Ledwein is in the hunt for a second straight individual title heading into the final round of the Jan Weaver Invitational.

Ledwein fired a three-under 69 to open up play at the par-72 Miller Memorial Golf Course for her school-record fifth career sub-70 round.  She broke the school record for career rounds in the 60's of four originally set by Danielle Lemek.  Ledwein is tied with Belmont's Delia Gibbs for the individual lead at one-under 143 after she posted a second-round 74.

Bradley was atop the team standings after firing a season-best 10-over par 298 to open tournament play.  The Braves slipped into a tie with Belmont for fifth in the team standings at 30-over par (606) after a second-round 308.  Central Arkansas holds the top spot in the team standings at 22-over 598, while tournament-host Murray State is second overall at 23-over (599).  Bradley is just four shots behind third-place Seton Hall (602) and the Braves hold a four-shot edge on Missouri Valley Conference rival Southern Illinois, that closed the day seventh in the team standings at 610.

Elyse Emerzian ended the day three shots out of the top 10 in a tie for 21st at eight-over 152.  After a first-round 79, Emerzian had the lowest second-round score for the Braves with a season-best 73 in the afternoon.

Megan Welch matched her season-best round with a 73 in the day's first round and is one shot back of Emerzian in a tie for 25th at 153, following a second-round 80.

Mara Flaherty turned in matching 81's during the opening day of play and is tied with Maddie Hawkins for 57th in the standings at 18-over 162 to round out the team scoring for the Braves.  Hawkins posted a first-round 77 and closed the day with an 85 in the afternoon.

The final round of the Jan Weaver Invitational will tee off at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
