Baseball DH Against Valparaiso Moved to Friday

Teams will open MVC series with a 4 p.m. twinbill Friday at Dozer Park

PEORIA, IL – With rain expected later in the weekend, the start of this weekend's Missouri Valley Conference baseball series between Valparaiso (11-23, 6-10 MVC) and Bradley (14-15, 6-4 MVC) at has been changed to a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. at Dozer Park.

The second game of Friday's twinbill will be a 7-inning contest. The status of the two remaining games in the series will be evaluated as weather forecasts are updated, but the schedule now calls for single games Saturday and Sunday, both beginning at 1 o'clock at Dozer Park.

Bradley will plan to produce both of Friday's games for The Valley on ESPN, as well as Sunday's 1 p.m. series finale. The school's ESPN production efforts will remain on Saturday's Bradley Softball doubleheader against Drake at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex.
